About this game
In Exposaurus, natural history museums compete to assemble the most sensational exhibits of dinosaur fossils and gems. As the museum directors, players send explorers to start new excavations and recover findings that should be part of the museum collection. Each exploration, however, results in an explorer leaving that player's museum to work at the national museum, which means the possibilities for the museum tighten in future turns. The size and type of the collections determines which museum director comes out on top. Contents: 36 gems 64 dino tiles 40 scientists (10 cubes per colour each) 4 museum tiles (1 per colour each) 4 paleontologist (1 per colour each) 4 tiles national museum 4 claim discs (1 per colour each) 1 die
Does it fit your group?
- Group size. Works with 2 to 4.
- Rules load. At 1.6/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
- Age. The publisher suggests 8 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
