About this game
In the tile-placement, mine-building game Mines of the Sacred Dragon, players take turns building mines or expanding existing mines in order to score victory points (VPs). When a player has 0-1 mine tokens remaining or the draw pile is depleted, the game ends after the final player has finished his turn. Players then score points – one VP for each solitary mine, with extra points for connecting mines – and the player with the most points wins. In case of a tie, the player with the larger set of connecting mines wins; if tied again, the tied player who took the later turn wins.
Does it fit your group?
- Group size. Works with 1 to 5. It has a designed solo mode.
- Rules load. At 1.7/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
- Age. The publisher suggests 10 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
