The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey – Das Kartenspiel (2012)

About this game

In The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey - Das Kartenspiel, the players will travel together with the hobbit Bilbo Baggins and his companions on an adventurous journey through Middle earth. To succeed in collecting gems at each travel site will require both tactics and good luck with the cards. Beware, though, as the longer the trip, the more important it is for players to keep an eye on what they're doing...

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 2 to 4.
• Rules load. At 1.3/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 8 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
