Méchanlou (2012)

About this game

Méchanlou is a strategic cardgame for children aged 4 to 7. You play with the characters of the famous tale of Little Red Riding Hood. The winner is the first player with all 6 story cards. But beware of the wolf ... On your turn you can either play a card in front of you, discard one or try to steal one from your fellow players by using a wolf-card. If your opponent can't identify a hunter, you can grap his card otherwise your turn is over.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 2 to 4.
• Rules load. At 1.2/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 4 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
