Word Whimsy (2013)

About this game

Word Whimsy is a party game that uses "prompt cards" to set the theme for each round, such as "Good Name for a Metal Band" or "Most Likely to Win in a Fight". Players then use word cards to build a title or phrase that fits the theme. One player is the judge and awards points to the best entry.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 3 to 7.
• Rules load. At 1.0/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 15 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
