San Guo Sha: Kingdom Wars (2012)

About this game

Another variant of the ever popular game by YOKA games. This takes San Guo Sha to the next level with each player choosing 2 heroes. Double the abilities, the chaos and the excitement! Instead of 'copying' bang, with sheriffs, outlaws etc, like the original San Guo Sha does, now players team and ally against each other based on the different factions that they had from their heroes, all taken directly from the famous Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The goal is simply, survive till the end, by killing off all your opponents.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 2 to 12.
• Rules load. At 2.3/5 this is a mid-weight game — expect a proper rules explanation before you start.
• Age. The publisher suggests 8 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
