Fish or Cut Bait (2013)

About this game

You're guaranteed fast-paced fun when you play the Fish or Cut Bait Game from Front Porch Classics. Flip the 45-second timer and roll the dice as fast as you can. You assemble your fishing rig and catch fish according to the symbols on the dice. Hurry, and beware of rolling a "snag" and losing your turn. After 10 quick rounds, count up your catch. The player who has the most fish, wins. Includes custom game dice, score pad and an hourglass-style timer.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 2 to 99.
• Rules load. At 1.0/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 8 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
