Castle Blast (2013)

About this game

Castle Blast is the action game of clever destruction for kids of all ages. Armed with a wrecking ball, your target is the enemy castle. Your goal? Save the princess, retrieve the king’s treasure and defeat the dragon. Earn a token for each successful feat. But aim carefully: clear the wrong piece from the board and you lose a token. The first player to claim all three tokens wins the game! This heirloom-quality game includes 26 solid wood castle blocks, 1 wooden game board, 1 wrecking ball, 3 character blocks, 1 die, 12 tokens and instructions.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 2 to 4.
• Rules load. At 1.0/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 5 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
