Black Stories Junior: Purple Stories (2014)

About this game

How could that have happened? Purple Stories is a game similar to the Black Stories game series. The players try to reconstruct an obscure nightly event by asking, guessing and fiddling about. Only yes/no answers are allowed. This version of the black stories has mysteries related to various spooky nocturnal things.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 2 to 15.
• Rules load. At 1.0/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 8 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
