Jumanji (1995)

About this game

The Game That Pursues You! Stalking lions, charging rhinos, lunging, snapping crocodiles, and more. In the wild world of Jumanji, they're only a dice roll away. Choose your pawn and set out on a deadly journey. Decode rhyming card messages that could spell disaster! Roll 8-sided dice together to rescue a fellow player in danger! Fail to escape, and the jungle could swallow you whole! The only way out is to finish the game. Only then will the terrors of the jungle disappear… The game is based on the movie of the same name.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 2 to 4.
• Rules load. At 1.4/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 8 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
