About this game

A competitive card game about thieves, monsters, magic, bombs, and mostly goats. The goal of Goat Lords is to gather the biggest goat herd. You do so by stacking pairs of matching goat cards in front of you and stealing opponent's goats before the draw pile runs out. Knowing how to play your cards, when to hold 'em, and who to attack greatly affect how many points you end up when the last goat is played.

• Rules load. At 1.5/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 7 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
