Aegean Strike: Land, Air, and Sea Combat in the Eastern Mediterranean (1986)

About this game

Aegean Strike presents a comprehensive and realistic picture of the interplay between ground, air, and naval forces in modern warfare. The highly interactive sequence of play allows players to act and react to the changing battle situation. The integration of combat arms occurs on both the operational and strategic level. Scenarios include a Libyan - Egyptian War, Turkish Missile Crisis, Greco-Turkish War, and, of course, WWIII. Gulf Strike is not needed to play Aegean Strike, however, a link-up scenario is included.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Strictly 2 players — no more, no fewer.
• Rules load. At 4.2/5 this is a heavy game — read the rulebook before people arrive.
• Age. The publisher suggests 12 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
