Vortex (2016)

About this game

Description from the publisher: Vortex is the fun board game to play with family and friends. Place the routers and the controllers and try to be the first to get to the other side of the board. The basic game (Crossing and the variant Crossing Advanced) can be played by 2 to 6 players. For younger players (6 years and older) Cat & Mouse is a perfect game. When you prefer to play single, you will find Solitary quite challenging. With the dynamic board of Vortex, you will never grow tired of playing.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 1 to 6. It has a designed solo mode.
• Rules load. At 2.0/5 this is a mid-weight game — expect a proper rules explanation before you start.
• Age. The publisher suggests 8 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
