Watch Ya' Mouth (2016)

About this game

Watch Ya' Mouth contains a bunch of mouthguards and more than nine hundred phrases on 143 cards that you will find extremely challenging to say while sporting a mouthguard. Can you communicate clearly enough that others will guess what you're trying to say? The game is designed to play in teams, usually of two. One person wears a cheek retractor similar to what you get at a dentist, then they read a phrase on a card with the equipment in their mouth. Their teammate(s) are supposed to try and repeat the phrase correctly back (without the retractors). The team with the most correct answers wins.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 3 to 10.
• Rules load. At 1.0/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 8 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
