Ancient Artifacts (2017)

About this game

A tactical dice game of battling humid jungles, deep oceans, burning deserts, tomb raiders, and other archaeologists in the search for artifacts and glory. With a little luck, a little daring, and a little money, you’re sure to find your heart’s desire. Ancient Artifacts is played over a series of rounds in which players draw dice from a bag to select their action and location. Then, they roll the dice and try to avoid raiders while completing various sets, runs, or combinations depending on the action chosen. Complete every action at each location to find the ancient artifacts!

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 1 to 4. It has a designed solo mode.
• Rules load. At 2.0/5 this is a mid-weight game — expect a proper rules explanation before you start.
• Age. The publisher suggests 8 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
