Mag·Blast: Third Edition (2006)

About this game

Game description from the publisher: The art of renowned cartoonist John Kovalic, coupled with the hilarious "Make a Silly Noise or Miss!" Blast Targeting System, makes Mag·Blast (Third Edition) the perfect card game for two to eight players, ages ten and up. This edition retains all of the fast-paced fun and powerful ships of the previous editions, and it includes eight new flagships, seven ship types, twenty action card types (including fighters and bombers), and three blast card types...including the famous Mag•Blast!

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 2 to 8.
• Rules load. At 1.6/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 10 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
