Communist Cats (2018)

About this game

A party game of bluffing and strategy for 2-6 players. Join the cats in their goal to claim power. Will you defeat your enemies by gaining influence, will you defeat them with military power, or will you capture the capitalist mouse hiding within! Each player is dealt 3 cards. During your turn use the abilities of these cards to challenge your opponents, including in direct conflict, spying, hunting for the capitalist mouse or gaining influence. Welcome comrades, and let the quest for glory begin! —description from the designer

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 2 to 6.
• Rules load. At 1.6/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 12 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
