Koala (2006)

About this game

The goal of the game is to eat food (as much as possible): spaghetti, hamburger and pizza are what koala like most. The koala are going to do anything to eat food. Koala is perhaps the first game where the sitting places of the players is very important forcing players to change their plans during the game. Koala also has a team variant which makes the game more strategic. It also makes it longer to play.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 3 to 10.
• Rules load. At 1.8/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 10 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
