Kawaii (2019)

About this game

Collect as many ice creams as you can of your favorite shape and/or flavor! Cherries will gain you extra points, but be careful not to find the door closed when you go to the shop, or you might see your score melt away like ice in the sun… Kawaii is a dynamic card game where your goal is to get the most valuable pile before other players do so. In order to succeed you need to constantly observe other players’ actions, use your memory and act fast, with no hesitation. Ready?

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 3 to 5.
• Rules load. At 1.2/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 6 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
