Chope! (2019)

About this game

Singaporeans love to eat. But where there is love, there is war. Seize your food and capture your table! Even if you can carry one more plate, will you be able to chope (reserve) enough tables to eat in peace? Or siam (evade) the dreaded mynahs when they come for your food? Grab your friends and family to play this fast-paced hawker-approved game! Chope is a captivating blend of dexterity and push your luck, in a small box that packs as much flavour as your laksa or mutton briyani. Come and have a taste! —description from the publisher

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 3 to 6.
• Rules load. At 1.0/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 6 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
