KuniUmi (2020)

About this game

In the Kuniumi, the myth of the creation of Japan, the gods Izanami and Izanagi join to give birth to Japan's islands. In this 2 players abstract strategy game, you need to move your god's token to create land or sea, and try to force the opponent to enclose with their pieces your territory. —description from the publisher

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Strictly 2 players — no more, no fewer.
• Rules load. At 2.7/5 this is a mid-weight game — expect a proper rules explanation before you start.
• Age. The publisher suggests 10 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
