Necromunda: Dark Uprising (2019)

About this game

Dark Uprising is a fresh take on Necromunda for both veterans and newcomers alike. The box is bursting with amazing models, including modular Zone Mortalis terrain, two complete gangs – the twisted Corpse Grinder Cult and indomitable Palanite Enforcers – plus a rulebook, cards, dice and rulers. This contains absolutely everything you need to play Necromunda. But it has so much more than that – it features details of the rise of the Corpse Grinder Cults and the fall of Hive Arcos, as well as details for creating your own Enforcer Patrol or Corpse Grinder Cult. There’s also a new campaign, which follows the descent of a hive into the grips of a Chaos uprising and six scenarios that capture the deterioration into lawlessness. —description from the publisher

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Strictly 2 players — no more, no fewer.
• Rules load. At 3.7/5 this is a heavy game — read the rulebook before people arrive.
• Age. The publisher suggests 12 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
