Transformers 3D Battle Card Game (2007)

About this game

From Wizards' website: Based on the film releasing July 4th, with additional favorites from TRANSFORMERS history, the TRANSFORMERS 3D battle-card game lets you take total control of your favorite AUTOBOT and DECEPTICON characters! Crack open a pack and start building your 'bots. Or, build them in their vehicle form using the same set of pieces! Once you've assembled your characters, battle away, because even though they're fun to put together, they're even more fun to play with! Each battle pack comes with four randomly inserted constructible cards (enough to build two characters), two stat cards containing character and battle information, a token card, and game rules with assembly diagrams.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Strictly 2 players — no more, no fewer.
• Rules load. At 1.2/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 8 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
