Klimato (2020)

About this game

Klimato is a competitive family card game about climate change. The future of the planet is in your hands, it's more than time time to make your ecological transition! Draw fossil or renewable resources cards to fuel your old power plants and produce the energy needed to build new greenest ones. You earn victory points with environmentally friendly buildings, but watch out for the pollution, the disasters and the neighbouring cities... The winner is the player with the most victory points at the end of the game. —description from the designer

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 2 to 5.
• Rules load. At 2.0/5 this is a mid-weight game — expect a proper rules explanation before you start.
• Age. The publisher suggests 8 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
