About this game
The basic rules of the trick-taking game Stichtag are straightforward: Each player starts with twelve cards in hand, red is trump, and players want to collect the most tricks to win. However, the game includes a desk calendar with three flippable stacks of cards: two for the numerals in the date and one for the month. Does it fit your group?
- Group size. Works with 3 to 5.
- Rules load. At 2.0/5 this is a mid-weight game — expect a proper rules explanation before you start.
- Age. The publisher suggests 10 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
