Detecteam Family: One Egg Too Many (2021)

About this game

A 24/7 egg care has opened in the rainforest! The forest inhabitants can hand their egg over to the care, and its carers - the parrot an the owl - will look after them. But one day a new egg appears in the care nest out of nowhere... This is a cooperative detective board game for the whole family. You will literally piece together the event (connect several cards to get the full picture) and attempt to get it right. After the game you are going to answer a few questions and find out what really happened. Play as a team, discuss the story, and get to the bottom of it! —description from the publisher

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 2 to 4.
• Rules load. At 1.0/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 8 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
