Busy Beaks (2023)

About this game

Get to know Australia's most fascinating birds in Busy Beaks. In the game, each player collects bird cards and gathers them into flocks to score points. Whoever makes the most valuable flocks wins! Each bird also has a special ability, like the Powerful Owl who lets you search the deck for the card you really need, or the mimicking Magpie who lets you copy another card. Choose which birds you want to use each game to make every play feel different. —description from the publisher

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 2 to 4.
• Rules load. At 2.0/5 this is a mid-weight game — expect a proper rules explanation before you start.
• Age. The publisher suggests 8 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
