Crime Scene: Lazio 1356 (2022)

About this game

Lazio is the fifth game in the Crime Scene family. It follows the same puzzle solving format as its predecessors. This game is set in a medieval monastery, where recent events have frightened away most of the monks. The story is written by the awarded author Arttu Tuominen. In the puzzles you get to investigate a broken down cart with strange wheels, a night sky with shooting starts, a pot where man has been boiled, and many other things. The high age recommendation comes from a few graphic details in the story. These can be skipped by parents playing with their children (12+), as long as they are aware such exist in the game. Challenge Level 3/5

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 1 to 4. It has a designed solo mode.
• Rules load. At 2.5/5 this is a mid-weight game — expect a proper rules explanation before you start.
• Age. The publisher suggests 18 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
