Marvel Zombies: Heroes' Resistance (2022)

About this game

When the zombie plague strikes, not even Earth's mightiest heroes are safe. Marvel Zombies: Heroes' Resistance is a co-operative board game for 1-4 players based on the core mechanisms of the Zombicide game series, bringing non-stop zombie action to a Marvel universe in which some heroes have been infected by an unknown virus that has been transformed them into zombies. In the game, you can control either the Marvel heroes to protect citizens...or the Marvel zombies to devour them. Fight the insatiable hunger, for heroes never die — they just change.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 1 to 4. It has a designed solo mode.
• Rules load. At 2.3/5 this is a mid-weight game — expect a proper rules explanation before you start.
• Age. The publisher suggests 14 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
