Magic: The Gathering – 2022 Starter Kit (2022)

About this game

This two-player starter set for Magic: The Gathering contains two 60-card decks: a white-blue deck featuring a foil Welcoming Vampire, and a red-green deck featuring a foil Thundering Raiju. It also includes a rulebook, two cardboard deck boxes, and two code cards to redeem the decks on Magic: The Gathering Arena.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Strictly 2 players — no more, no fewer.
• Rules load. At 4.0/5 this is a heavy game — read the rulebook before people arrive.
• Age. The publisher suggests 13 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
