Masters of Crime: Shadows (2022)

About this game

You are undertaking a secret mission for criminal masterminds! In Masters of Crime: Shadows, you plan to break into the Bachmann Gallery in Amsterdam in order to steal a famous painting — but to do that, rooms must be examined, security systems hacked, and puzzles solved. There are many ways to steal a masterpiece. Which one will you choose? In addition to the game material, the internet is also an important part of the game: Google Maps, extra websites, and clever online research help with this exciting adventure in Amsterdam.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 1 to 6. It has a designed solo mode.
• Rules load. At 2.0/5 this is a mid-weight game — expect a proper rules explanation before you start.
• Age. The publisher suggests 14 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
