About this game

From the publisher's website: "Be the first to maneuver your kayak up, down, and across a river that you build as you go! But be careful - rocks and competing kayakers are bound to stir up some chaos!" Each player may play up to three cards from their hand on their turn. The cards allow basic actions (paddling down the river, paddling across the river to avoid rocks, or shifting a section of the river to clear your path) as well as powerful actions (a kayak flip turns an entire tile 180 degrees, a whirlpool exchanges two adjacent tiles, and a life ring that can "counter" an opponent's play)

• Rules load. At 1.2/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 8 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
