About this game
Dealer's Dilemma is a trick-taking game for 3 players that is all about precision bidding. The dealer for the round faces a tough choice to pick, between 2 undealt cards, a trump suit and a lead card. Players discard 2 cards from their hands to bid the number of tricks they will take. There are 2 levels of bidding : easy bid if you want to do 2 predictions, and risky bid if you want to do a single prediction. “It is risky bid-ness.” - Carol LaGrow
Does it fit your group?
- Group size. Strictly 3 players — no more, no fewer.
- Rules load. At 2.0/5 this is a mid-weight game — expect a proper rules explanation before you start.
- Age. The publisher suggests 8 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
