About this game
A game for everyday people. Unfortunately, I am finding players often do not know the full rules of the game when I play them online at BGA. There are two ways to win the game. It is not just a 5 in a row game. RULES: 1. The first player starts the game by placing one piece anywhere on the board. 2. Players take turns placing a piece horizontally or vertically in line with the last placed piece in the game. There must not be intervening pieces of either color between the last placed piece and the newly placed piece. 3. A player wins in one of two ways: by placing five pieces consecutively in a row horizontally, vertically or diagonally, or forcing the opponent into a position where he is unable to place a piece on the board. (blocking them in with intervening pieces).
Does it fit your group?
- Group size. Strictly 2 players — no more, no fewer.
- Rules load. No complexity score has been recorded for this one.
- Age. The publisher suggests 12 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
