Side Quest: 7th Sea (2023)

About this game

Hurry! From what you've heard in the inn the Dragonsteel Shield can be found in Nüllrode, but the Inquisition is already on their way! You're lucky they chose to use the roads – you can overtake them using the shortcut. A few hours, two terrified settlements, and one totally honorable saber duel later, you are here. The village looks boring, but there is an old, pagan chapel, seemingly sealed tightly. Sneaking in is not an option, so it's time to get these doors open! Get inside the chapel and reach for treasure before others! SideQuest: 7th Sea is an escape room-style game set in the world of well-known TTRPG system 7th Sea, published by Chaosium.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 1 to 4. It has a designed solo mode.
• Rules load. At 2.0/5 this is a mid-weight game — expect a proper rules explanation before you start.
• Age. The publisher suggests 14 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
