Legion: The Siberian Story (2024)

About this game

After the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, the Czechoslovak legions were stranded in Russia in the middle of Civil war. To reach their new homeland, the Czechoslovaks had to endure a hardly believable journey across the whole Siberia to the Pacific coast. In Legions we try to capture the small stories of this odyssey. Each player leads one faction in order to dominate others. Each faction has unique set of soldiers at their disposal and each soldier’s capabilities evolves around the way – both in the positive and the negative way. The goal is simple – to outsmart the opponents playing the right cards at the right moment and to use your Order tokens, so you will always have some trick up in your sleeve.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 2 to 4.
• Rules load. At 2.3/5 this is a mid-weight game — expect a proper rules explanation before you start.
• Age. The publisher suggests 12 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
