Lumicora (2024)

About this game

In the oceans around the equator, a beautiful habitat shines with bright colors. Coral reefs are underwater ecosystems and home to many species. However, as a result of global warming, reefs have been declining massively in recent decades, and it is up to us to protect them to keep them alive! Lumicora is a three-dimensional tile-laying game that relies on clever planning and timing. Gather colorful coral tiles and construct a beautiful luminescent reef. —description from the publisher

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 2 to 4.
• Rules load. At 2.3/5 this is a mid-weight game — expect a proper rules explanation before you start.
• Age. The publisher suggests 10 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
