Chock-A-Block (2024)

About this game

Players build colourful apartment blocks bursting with life. Pick and place a block card, and connect chains of cats, birds and underwear to grab scoring tokens before other players. Join up units of the same colour to attract neighbours to move in, bringing in even more scoring and combo opportunities! Challenge the vicious AutoBlock mode as a solo player if you love puzzles. —description from the publisher

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 1 to 5. It has a designed solo mode.
• Rules load. At 2.0/5 this is a mid-weight game — expect a proper rules explanation before you start.
• Age. The publisher suggests 10 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
