About this game

Solitaire game on the Battle of Iwo Jima. Japanese units are set up with their facing covered. Marines will invade from 2 alternate beaches. Rules allow the Japanese to fire at Marines once the latter moves to within 2 hexes. Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Strictly 1 player — no more, no fewer.
• Rules load. At 2.8/5 this is a mid-weight game — expect a proper rules explanation before you start.
• Age. The publisher suggests 12 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
