Tony & Tino (2002)

About this game

War & Sheep, Tony & Tino and Drake & Drake are the first two player games published by Eurogames. All three were designed by Bruno Cathala. Tony & Tino are two twin sons of the local Godfather. They are battling for the control of the Chicago streets. One who gains more money will have the honor of becoming the new Godfather. The tile placement system is somewhat reminiscent of Cosmolancer, but in a much lighter vein. Part of the Eurogames Games for 2 Series.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Strictly 2 players — no more, no fewer.
• Rules load. At 1.7/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 10 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
