Water Lily (2010)

About this game

From the Publisher: Princess Water Lily and her sisters are to be wed! Frogs from all the Kingdom have heard the news and want to take part in the Royal Race, because the winners will marry them and become Princes! But it's a tricky race: hopping forward too fast will get you only a few points, and arriving too late no points! Water Lily is a suspenseful short race game from acclaimed designer Dominique Ehrhard (Marrakech, MacGregor, Crazy Circus, Serenissima, Condottiere...), a blend of bluff, tactical moves and some luck.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 2 to 4.
• Rules load. At 1.3/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 7 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
