Operation Apocalypse (1996)

About this game

Operation Apocalypse is a solitaire, tactical level Vietnam War wargame inspired by the helicopter attack sequence from the Francis Ford Coppola's 1979 movie Apocalypse Now. The player controls the American airmobile forces and the game system controls the VietCong forces.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Strictly 1 player — no more, no fewer.
• Rules load. At 2.0/5 this is a mid-weight game — expect a proper rules explanation before you start.
• Age. The publisher suggests 12 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
