Baby Boom (2010)

About this game

In this tactical game for two to four players, the goal is to blow up the enemy die-bomb using its own dices. A die-bomb is a 6 sided dice with 5 sides numbered from 1 to 5 and a face "Boom! Blow your dice-bombs to kill those of your opponents while trying to keep yours on the board. On each move, the countdown of your dice-bomb continues: 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... boom!!! All the dice on its horizontal and vertical lines are blown by the explosion. Only your die remains, until somebody else blow it with another explosion. With its variants and modular platform, Baby Boom offers many different way to play.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 2 to 4.
• Rules load. At 1.0/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 7 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
