Alexander at Tyre (1993)

About this game

Wargame covering the siege of Tyre by Alexander the Great and the Macedonians in 332 B.C. The map consists of both Area Movement (sea) and Point-to-Point (the city of Tyre). The three scenarios include: Naval Battles, Fight for the City, Fight for the City (siege version) and the Campaign Game. The game has very high quality and attractive color components.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Strictly 2 players — no more, no fewer.
• Rules load. At 2.3/5 this is a mid-weight game — expect a proper rules explanation before you start.
• Age. The publisher suggests 12 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
