About this game

Triominos is a game to Dominoes, in that players are laying tiles that match up to other tiles in the play area, with the goal to get points and be rid of tiles. In Tri-ominoes, the pieces are triangles with numbers that mat are matched on each side. Each triangle has 3 numbers at the points, so to place a piece next to it, it must match two numbers on the side. This is a variant of Tri-Ominos which features 76 pieces (additional 20 unique combinations plus the basic 56), which allows a total of 6 players.

Does it fit your group?

• Group size. Works with 1 to 6. It has a designed solo mode.
• Rules load. At 1.5/5 this is a light game — explain it in a few minutes, good for a table that has not played much.
• Age. The publisher suggests 6 and up. That rates the rules rather than the artwork, so judge the box yourself for younger players.
